Tax representation

Citizens who are not resident in Portugal, or who are absent from the national territory for more than 6 months, are obliged to appoint a fiscal representative, who represents them continuously to the Portuguese tax authorities, in order to guarantee all fiscal duties, including declarative duties, to keep relevant documentation and to provide the authorities with any clarifications requested.
